At Veridium Software, we stand behind the quality of our products. To ensure our customers are completely satisfied before making a financial commitment, we employ a strict "Try Before You Buy" model for all our software solutions.

1. The Evaluation Period (Free Trial)

We provide fully functional, time-limited trial versions of all our software (including HomeGuard Activity Monitor, SprintWork, and WinDataReflector) available for immediate download. We strongly encourage you to download, install, and test the software in your specific environment to ensure it meets your requirements and functions correctly on your hardware prior to purchasing a license.

2. Standard Refund Policy

Because we offer comprehensive free trials for evaluation purposes, and due to the nature of digital software licenses which cannot be physically "returned" once activated, all sales are considered final once a license key has been generated and delivered to you.

We generally do not offer refunds for the following reasons:

  • You changed your mind after purchasing.
  • The software is incompatible with your system (which should be verified during the trial period).
  • You purchased the software by mistake.
  • You lack the necessary administrative privileges to install or run the software on the target machine.

3. Exceptional Circumstances

We realize that exceptional circumstances can take place regarding the character of the product we supply. Therefore, we may honor requests for a refund under the following conditions, strictly at our technical support team's discretion:

  • Non-Delivery of the Product: Due to mail issues, you do not receive the delivery e-mail containing your license key from us. (Please ensure you check your spam/junk folders first).
  • Major Defects: If the software exhibits a verified, major technical flaw or defect that completely prevents it from functioning as advertised, and our technical support team is unable to resolve the issue or provide a temporary workaround within a reasonable timeframe (typically 7-14 days).
  • Duplicate Purchase: You accidentally purchased the same license twice within a short timeframe.

4. How to Request a Refund

If you believe your situation qualifies for a refund under the "Exceptional Circumstances" outlined above, you must submit a formal request within 30 days of your original purchase date.

To initiate a request, please contact our support team and include the following details:

  • Your Order ID or Reference Number.
  • The email address used during the purchase.
  • A detailed description of the problem, including screenshots or error logs if applicable.

5. Chargebacks and Disputes

We are committed to resolving any issues you might have amicably. We strongly request that you contact us directly to seek a resolution or process an eligible refund before initiating a chargeback or dispute with your bank, credit card company, or payment processor (e.g., PayPal). Unwarranted chargebacks may result in the permanent suspension of your software license and being blocked from future purchases.
