Securing the Network: Blocking All HTTPS Traffic

For blocking individual HTTPS websites, you can seamlessly add them to the website blocking list via "Monitoring Settings" >> "Websites". HomeGuard will automatically detect and cleanly block both the HTTP and secure HTTPS versions of any specified domain.

Administrators also have the option to block the HTTPS protocol entirely across the system. To configure this, navigate to "Monitoring Settings" >> "Web Sites" and check the "Block HTTPS" box.

Important Consideration: Blocking all HTTPS traffic globally will also prevent access to secure web-based email clients, banking portals, and most modern social networking platforms. Universal HTTPS blocking is recommended primarily as a strict, localized security measure. For targeted control, utilizing individual website blocking rules is highly recommended.
